Core Activities

Day 1: 

Introduction to STPM and building connections

Begin with an active introduction to the STPM approach, highlighting Iceland’s innovation in education, sustainability, and technology.   Introduce digital tools for sharing resources.  Explore Iceland’s unique cultural and educational heritage through "The Icelandic Corner" and connect with new European colleagues through engaging ice breaking activities and a relaxed social event.

Day 2: 

Connecting Erasmus+ and AI for project development

Begin by sharing Erasmus+ experiences and presenting project ideas, creating a foundation for collaboration. Explore Key Action 1 (KA1) opportunities and Key Action 2 (KA2) pathways, including small-scale and cooperation partnerships. Learn how to align participant ideas with Erasmus+ opportunities and integrate AI tools like ChatGPT-4 for application writing and project support, enhancing efficiency and creativity.

Day 3: 

Tricks, tips, and AI tools for application success

Discover methods and digital tools, including AI language models like ChatGPT-4, to streamline Erasmus+ application creation and project management. Gain an overview of EU and Erasmus+ priorities, alongside valuable insights into evaluation criteria used by application reviewers. Learn how to leverage AI for generating actionable feedback to enhance application quality and alignment with programme goals.

Day 4:

Insights into Icelandic Education and Sustainability

Visit one of Reykjavík’s newest schools, integrating kindergarten, primary, and secondary education. Discover how practical and academic subjects are equally valued, inclusion is a priority, and well-being is integrated into the curriculum.   Witness how outdoor activities rooted in Icelandic heritage build resilience. Explore how democracy and sustainability thinking shape the school community in a positive way.

Day 5: 

Practical application of AI in project development

Apply your learning with hands-on experience in project creation and application writing. Explore the "why, what, and how" of project development - identifying goals, objectives, and implementation strategies. Use tools, resources, and AI language models like ChatGPT-4 to plan and draft applications, integrating insights and techniques from previous sessions for real-world application success.

Conclude the day by sharing good practices—bring your favourite school activity to inspire colleagues, exchange ideas, and celebrate creativity in education.

Day 6:

Peer evaluation and AI-driven feedback

Engage in collaborative peer evaluation by reviewing application drafts from fellow participants, gaining insights into the Erasmus+ evaluation process. Leverage AI language models like ChatGPT-4 to provide and receive detailed, actionable feedback, refining application quality and alignment with programme priorities. Strengthen your skills in constructive critique and iterative project development

Day 7: 

Mindfulness and reflection in Icelandic hot tubs

Immerse yourself in an Icelandic well-being tradition with a visit to a local thermal swimming pool and hot tubs. This mindful, screen-free experience offers a chance to relax, reflect, and make future plans, fostering a sense of calm and focus as you conclude the week.
