Jón Karlson

Hello! I’m Jón, or Nonni for short. I’m an experienced Icelandic PE teacher and a certified PGA golf professional with over 30 years of experience teaching physical education, swimming, and golf to children, teens, and adults.

As part of the STPM team, I oversee Course Session Support, ensuring your visits to Reykjavík are memorable and fun. Don’t miss out on my famous Icelandic fish soup at our cultural evenings!

I’m also passionate about building partnerships that bring educators together for team-building and shared learning experiences. Alongside my wife Kristín, I help manage the PTLM project (a sister project with STPM), which organizes educational trips for Icelandic teachers in Europe.
